Behavioral health support through BCBS of NC
If you are enrolled in a Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBS of NC) medical plan option, you have coverage for behavioral health services, including therapy, counseling, and treatment for mental health and substance use conditions. You can see in-network providers without a referral. Check your benefit booklet or go to BlueConnectNC.com for more information on your coverage and costs.
Mental health support through Kaiser Permanente
If you are enrolled in a Kaiser Permanente medical plan, you have coverage for mental health and addiction care, with services like therapy, counseling, and treatment for emotional wellness and substance use. You can access care without a referral in most cases, and many services are available virtually.
